Charlestown Ltd won the competitive tender to replace a Utility Company’s Fall Arrest Systems on its Telecoms Towers Asset. This required Charlestown Ltd to be certified to supply goods and services through the UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database).

The Utility concerned has over 125 Telecoms site including 85 towers and 40 monopoles which Charlestown maintains as part of a separate contract. The towers required the redundant fall arrest systems removing and “Latchway Mansafe Systems” installing and certifying.

Charlestown implemented a project plan to assess, precure, install and certify the 85 systems required within a tight 12-week window. Our teams worked throughout the country to complete all of the systems on time and on budget for the client.
